AgentCore (October 2026): Runtime: Increased environment variable limit for V2 agents
Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Runtime now supports up to 4 KB of environment variables for agents on platform version V2, the same limit as V1. Previously, V2 limited environment variables to 1.5 KB for direct code deployments and 2.5 KB for container agents. For more information, see Resource allocation limits in the Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Developer Guide .
