Privacy policy

Overview
Adraxon ( adraxon.com ) is a tech intelligence platform. This policy describes what we collect when you use the website and the Adraxon iOS app (bundle ID com.adraxon.app).
What we collect
- Usage data — standard server logs (IP address, browser or app user-agent, pages visited) for security and reliability.
- Suggestions — if you use the feedback form, we store the email and message you submit so we can respond and prioritize requests.
- Local preferences — briefing settings may be stored on your device (browser / WebView local storage). They are not uploaded as a profile.
- No account required — the public desks do not require sign-in today.
- Third-party links — article headlines link to external publishers; their privacy policies apply when you leave Adraxon.
Chintu Voice & speech
- Chintu Voice reads the latest headlines (title and short summary) in order using your device’s built-in text-to-speech (Apple system voices on iOS) or server-side neural speech when available. The voice engine is chosen automatically.
- Optional microphone (Chat and Voice “Ask Chintu”) uses your browser’s on-device speech recognition. Audio is processed on your device and is not uploaded to Adraxon. Only the resulting text question is sent to our API, same as typing.
- Spoken answers and headlines use on-device or server text-to-speech. We do not record or store microphone audio.
- Spoken headline text is the same news content already shown in the app (titles and summaries fetched over HTTPS).
Chintu (chat assistant)
When you use Chintu (typed or spoken), your question is sent to our API to search desks and generate a text answer. We process that request to provide the feature. Do not submit secrets or personal data you do not want processed.
Tracking & advertising
Adraxon does not use third-party advertising trackers or sell personal data. We do not use the App Tracking Transparency framework because we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising.
Encryption & security
- Traffic to adraxon.com and api.adraxon.com uses HTTPS (TLS). The iOS app only uses exempt encryption (HTTPS).
- The site and API send security headers (HSTS, clickjacking protection, content-type sniffing protection, and a content security policy).
- The API applies rate limits (especially on Chintu) to reduce abuse. We do not ask for passwords today; do not submit secrets in chat or forms.
